Egyptians & Dr Abdullah Al-Badr

before going into the topic of our article, i would like to repeat the strict government warning: stay in your homes, to reduce, i repeat, to reduce the size of the coming disaster.
many soldiers have fallen on the battlefield and their remains have never been found and that is why several western governments have decided to honor them in a symbolic manner by burying the remains of one of them in a privileged location of the state’s capital and building a memorial around it, in honor of those unknown soldiers who died defending the country.
and because of backward mentalities, we do not have a monument to the unknown soldier despite such monuments are found in most arab and muslim countries.
the first tomb of the unknown soldier dates back to 1858 built-in denmark, but the actual beginning of this national tradition began after the first world war, with the tomb of the unknown soldier at the entrance to the arc de triomphe in paris, france in 1920.
as we are glued to the corners of our homes or the corners of our apartments and are busy reading, watching tv, sifting through the magazine pages or a newspaper, or busy cooking or doing other errands that it is difficult for us to estimate the size of the efforts exerted by unknown soldiers on the front lines and combating the largest epidemic which has attacked the world, paralyzed airports, places of worship, schools, cabarets and turned a life of half the world population into misery.
this is a catastrophe that did not happen even at the height of world war ii (1939-1945), which claimed the lives of more than sixty million people. the unknown soldiers of the homeland, whom we wish safety and life, are found in the cabins of our national aviation, in the examination and quarantine centers, in the intensive care units, among them nurses, and the doctors, of every nationality, race, religion, and sect, who continue day and night to protect us from this pestilence.
the unknown soldiers are the paramedics who transfer the sick and the infected with the epidemic. the unknown soldiers are the security men, who keep a watchful eye when we are asleep, and who make extraordinary efforts not only to maintain security but also to eliminate the real nests of corruption that we forgot, in the midst of the interest of those ridiculous among us who see negative phenomena is a woman wearing high heel shoes and clothes with bare shoulders.
the unknown soldiers are the criminal investigation department men, the inspectors of the ministry of commerce who exert tremendous efforts to ensure we get edible food and war traders, add to them the unknown soldiers in the ministry of foreign affairs.
this article does not suffice to mention the names or jobs of unknown soldiers, from the municipality, the army, and others, who defend our existence, our health, and the health of our loved ones, all of whom work under prudent leadership.
all of these things, without exaggeration, would not have meant anything without the conscious leadership which is aware of the scale of the disaster and willingness to exert precious measures to stop the health, economic, psychological, educational and social destruction on every level.
thanks to the prime minister, and to the ministers of health, commerce and interior, who bear the brunt of the greatest effort and we do not underestimate the right of the rest of the ministers, even who chose quarantine.
i chose to mention the name of dr. abdullah al-badr, assistant health undersecretary for drug and food control affairs, as a title for my article, which has the task of protecting our health and providing medical care to all of us, and i did so despite we are different in thoughts but to show that we are one nation in hard times.
the word ‘egyptians’ is mentioned in the article, after noting that the number of readers peak when something about them is mentioned, so many of them who read this article must remember: the slogan ‘stay at home, whatever the degree of distress or boredom’.
