The beautiful lady ... the most beautiful humanitarian society

a lady went to withdraw money from the bank and found out that whoever used the atm machine before her had forgotten to take the money from it, so she went to the bank manager and gave him the $500 she found and asked him to return it to the owner.
the next day, the manager contacted her and told her that the money belonged to an elderly and semi-destitute client. the money was to pay her house rent which was $480, and that she donated $20 all for her trust.
the lady was impressed by the behavior of the old woman which almost reduced her to tears, who despite her poverty did not give up her generosity.
after pulling herself together, the lady contacted the bank manager and asked him to transfer $200 from her account to the old woman’s account. a bank employee heard the conversation and he also donated $100.
within a few minutes, the rest of the employees of the bank branch participated and collected more than $300 for the old woman who did not believe how her behavior influenced others to give the best of them.
she also discovered from all this that it is not important how much we should give or donate, big or small, sincere giving will surely fill our lives with satisfaction and happiness.
on jan 22 this year, in response to dozens of messages, honest or otherwise, every month i receive requests for help, especially by patients in hospitals.
i wrote an article in which i called upon readers to participate with me in the establishment of a society to help those less fortunate, especially those who cannot afford hospital fees. i said in the article that i will donate kd 50,000 towards this society, if it was founded
within a few hours of the publication of the article, i received letters, even official and calls from many, thanking me. they showed their gratitude and thanked me for my generosity, and i discovered the beauty of life through all this.
among those, i remember yahya al-bassam, munira al-mutawa, abdul aziz al-sultan, saud al-arfaj, anwar al-sultan, khalid hamdan al-seif, faisal al-sultan, the sultan educational society, george odeh and jassim mohammed abdulwahab and others whether who promised to donate money or participate by time, effort, legal, accounting and management expertise to the society.
today, the resolution of proclaiming the society was issued under the name ‘kuwait human friendship society’” which we will strive to be exemplary in its work, goals and humanitarian dimension, far from religious, sectarian and ethnic polarization.
it will also be an example of transparency, care for credibility, and help for every needy person in our beautiful country.
its future activities, social events and assistance will be vital in alleviating the suffering of many, improving kuwait’s image in the world, and facilitating the lives of the residents in our country.
we will strive to be part of this ‘society’ without having a direct role in its management, as we mentioned in the january 2018 article.
in conclusion, we sincerely thank the minister of social affairs for her assistance and confidence in the idea of our project, and to mrs munira al-kandari, to major-general mansour al-awadhi, who assisted us greatly in ending the security procedures, and to lt colonel khaled al-tammar from the office of the undersecretary of the ministry of interior and to all who facilitated licensing the society in almost record time.
