tweets have spread like wild fire accusing an academician at kuwait university of outraging the modesty of his students during a lecture.
political activists belonging to religious parties responded to the tweets, and demanded that mps they support take action and suspend this professor. they put pressure on the minister of education, and he formed a commission of inquiry that is the fastest in the history of the state.
it was found from well-known references that this professor has local, gulf and international innovations, and that he holds 3 doctorate degrees in his specialization, other than master’s degrees, excellence and achievement in many other fields, and he is considered a distinguished personality, whether with his published idea, his well-known clinical work, or his modern teaching methods.

nevertheless, he was subjected to a fierce and unfair campaign from mps, tweeters, and even government officials, because a male or female student did not like the teaching method he followed, knowing that those who complained deal with or even searched every minute for everything that is exciting in the means of communication and on their mobile phones.
it has never happened before that a person released a few tweets attacking a university professor and the director of kuwait university personally, bypassing
all levels of investigation and accountability, wrote to the professor in question, asking him to clarify his position on the accusations of mocking religion.
it did not happen before that all this number of tweeters and political activists coming together demanding the head of the accused professor. it did not happen that kuwait university issued a statement, with record speed, to form an investigation committee to look into a complaint that a professor presented immoral materials during his lecture.
the statement issued by the university director included that he would deal transparently and impartially and within legal frameworks with the professor while he had already broken all frameworks by addressing him directly. some believe, and wish that the doctor would be punished by terminating his contract with the university, but these are ignorant people who do not realize that the academic work and its traditions and the nation as a whole, and not an individual with his works, creativity and extensive clinical advisory activities in more than one country and fi eld will be affected. what a pity, kuwait.
what is happening is nothing more than a dirty game. these representatives and activists seek to clear the arena of their opponents, knowing that they are the strongest, the most numerous, the most patient, and the most generous of the bounties of associations.they are supported by deputies and backward religious forces, corresponding to individuals without real power, and academic representatives who call for the defense of freedoms, such as jowhar and al-saleh but they are dumb as stones.
these evil-doers do not want the good of kuwait, and perhaps the government is pacifying them, and they will often tire this professor, as they have already
done with dozens of others before him by flooding them with cases, investigation committees, humiliating them in the security departments, the prosecution,
and courts, thus pushing them to isolation and the state lost clean mentalities, and there is no one left in the field except the ignorant people.

how can we believe that the articles and talks of a writer enter every home and bedroom and every male and female teenager and student hears them,
especially during the month of ramadan, and their blatant sexual issues have never previously aroused anyone’s attention while calling for the most severe penalties for a lecturer?
when the forces of underdevelopment begin to hang on the gallows forces of enlightenment, i can assure you this is the beginning of the ‘end’ of the entire society.
